Referee Evaluation for Fircrest Referees.
Referee Assignor
The Fircrest Soccer Club makes every reasonable effort to ensure that there are
referees at all of the "Home" matches for FSC teams that play below
the District level. For District level, Inter-District (IDDL), State League
(P1, P2, and Classic), Presidents Cup, Commissioners Cup, and State Cup, FSC
coordinates with the Pierce County Referee Assignor to supply Assistant
Referees for FSC "Home" matches. For more information, you can also
visit the Pierce County Soccer
Referees Association Website.
Have a Question or Comment about Soccer in the South
Sound
Visit
South Sound Soccer Forum and check out the great message boards. You
can find lots of information about the rules, and you can discuss your trials,
tribulations and headaches with other referees. The forum is devoted
exclusively to soccer in our area, so surf over and start posting.
Want to be a referee?
There are over 100 youth soccer matches played every weekend from September
through December just in Pierce County! And there are not enough referees to
cover all of them. If you are 12 years old or more, you can become a soccer
referee. Your first step is to take a training class. You can find a
description of the different types of classes at the Washington State Soccer
Referee Committee website-- WSSRC Training. Upcoming classes are listed on the
Washington State Youth Soccer Association website--
WSYSA Referee Info.
AskTheRef.com
AskTheRef.com is a
wonderful website for getting answers to real life soccer questions. Every
question you can think of has been asked and answered on this website. For
example, if you search for "offside" you will find over 100 questions
and answers about Law 11. This is an amazing website and a great educational
tool for players, parents, coaches and refs!
